Quick Overview

This samovar is constructed of 18/10 CrNi stainless steel with automatic thermostat control which enables you to brew tea within minutes in traditional style.

Tea is a fine beverage and needs to be brewed in a precise manner.
Experts know that tea develops its full flavor and delicious effect if brewed in a samovar.
This stainless steel showpiece brews tea in time-honored tradition. A concentrated tea steeps in the 4-cup teapot while water boils in the large urn. For tea perfection, pour the desired amount of concentrate into your tea cup. Use the spigot on the 20-cup water urn to dilute the tea to exactly the strength you prefer. Steam escaping from the top of the water container keeps the teapot at the optimal temperature for infusing.
The pilot lamp indicator tells you when the desired temperature has been reached and your tea is brewed to perfection.
Also included in this set is a 1 liter stainless steel teapot. This unit features a large 4.5 liter heating container.

This item is brand new in its original box.

HOW TO MAKE A TEA IN A SAMOVAR

Step 1
Attach an outlet adapter to the large round prongs at the end of the samovar cord, if your samovar was purchased in Russia. Plug the adapter into your standard wall outlet.

Step 2
Fill the samovar with warm or hot water, if possible, and wait for the water to come to a boil, usually about 10 to 15 minutes. You can begin with cool or cold water, if necessary, but it may take longer for the water to boil.

Step 3
Pour ½ cup hot water into a small non-electric tea pot, swish, and allow the water to stand for several minutes before emptying.

Step 4
Add two or three tablespoons of the loose tea of your choice to the teapot. Fill it with boiling water, and allow the mixture to steep for 10 to 15 minutes. This brew will be your tea "concentrate."

Step 5
Fill each teacup ¼ of the way full with the concentrated tea from the tea pot, and then fill the remainder with boiling water from the samovar. Add lemon, honey or sugar.
